Welcome to Inner Circle. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Inner Circle platform, available at tryinnercircle.io (the "Platform"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
Inner Circle ("Inner Circle", "we", "us", or "our") is an African creator session platform that connects creators, coaches, executives, and thought leaders with their fans and communities through 1-on-1 video sessions. The Platform is operated by Inner Circle Ltd., a company registered in Kenya.
All payment processing and financial services on the Platform are provided by Lemonade Paymentsstrong> (mylemonade.io), a financial technology company regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK). Inner Circle operates as a merchant on Lemonade Payments' licensed infrastructure.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Users under 18 are not permitted to create accounts or book sessions.
To access most features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or are found to contain false information.
Creators on Inner Circle are individuals who set up a profile, list session availability and pricing, and receive payments from fans ("Creators"). To become a Creator:
By applying as a Creator, you consent to the sharing of your personal and financial information with Lemonade Payments for the purposes of KYC verification, payment processing, and compliance with applicable law.
Fans may book sessions with Creators by selecting an available time slot, choosing a session duration, and completing payment. Session bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment by Lemonade Payments.
If a Creator does not appear for a confirmed session without prior notice, the Fan will receive a full refund and the Creator forfeits their fee. Multiple Creator no-shows will result in account suspension.
All payments on the Platform are processed exclusively by Lemonade Paymentsstrong> (mylemonade.io). By using the Platform, you agree to Lemonade Payments' terms and conditions in addition to these Terms.
Fans may pay for sessions via mobile money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, MTN MoMo), bank transfer, or card. Payment is collected in full at the time of booking confirmation.
The Platform supports multiple African and international currencies including KES, NGN, GHS, UGX, TZS, ZAR, USD, GBP, and EUR. Currency conversion, where applicable, is performed by Lemonade Payments at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of transaction.
All payment disputes must be raised within 7 days of the transaction by emailing support@tryinnercircle.io. Inner Circle will act as mediator between Fan and Creator and work with Lemonade Payments to resolve disputes. Our decisions on payment disputes are final.
All content posted on the Platform — including session descriptions, profile information, posts, and any materials shared during sessions — must comply with the following guidelines:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to terminate the accounts of repeat offenders without notice.
Creators retain all intellectual property rights in the content they create and share on the Platform. By posting content on Inner Circle, Creators grant Inner Circle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content on the Platform for the purposes of operating the service.
Fans and users may not screenshot, record, download, reproduce, share, or distribute any content — including session recordings, exclusive posts, or any other creator material — without the express written consent of the Creator. Violations may result in account termination, legal action, or both.
The Platform employs technical measures including content watermarking, screenshot detection, and expiring signed URLs to protect Creator content. These measures do not alter Creator's ownership of their content.
If you believe that content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please send a takedown request to legal@tryinnercircle.io with full details of the alleged infringement.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Inner Circle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
Inner Circle's total aggregate liability to any user for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the total platform fees paid by or to that user in the three months preceding the claim.
Inner Circle is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or suitability of any advice, information, or service provided by Creators during sessions. Creator advice does not constitute professional legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inner Circle, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Platform, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through direct negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to mediation under the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
